| Описание | Burg Ehrenberg is one of the closest castles to Heilbronn, but I never tried to see it. Heinsheim is halfway between Bad Wimpfen and Gundelsheimm, on the opposite side of the Neckar River from the road and railroad. I took this photo from the train, on the way to Heidelberg. Anyway, it is privately owned, and not open to visitors. Ehrenberg was built in the 12th and 13th centuries by a family that supported the Hohenstaufen Emperors, at the time that they maintained an important court in Bad Wimpfen. The tower was completed in 1235. |
