German: Ihnen gelang der Durchbruch durch die Blockade nach Palästina. Mit 700 jüdischen Auswanderern aus Mitteleuropa gelang es dem Dampfer "United States" von Bari, Italien, aus die englische Blockade zu durchbrechen und die Küste Palästinas in der Nähe von Nahariya zu erreichen. Sämtliche Auswanderer konnten mit Hilfe eines Seils an Land gebracht werden, während für die Alten und Kranken Rettungsboote zur Verfügung standen. Als am nächsten Tag britische Polizei und Heereseinheiten den Landeplatz umstellten, fanden sie nur noch 100 Flüchtlinge. Von den restlichen 600 fehlte jede Spur.
