Описание	This is part of the Socrates Mosaic, 362-363 AD. In the full mosaic Socrates (from the altar of the church) is depicted raising his hand in an almost Christlike gesture. It has been suggested this conforms a strong Neoplatonic tradition in Apamea at the time. The mosaics inside the former caravansary are of decent quality, but the light conditions were awful. Even after correcting the pictures suffer from all sorts of false colours, reflections and what not.
