Хаарман, Харальд

Харальд Хаарман (нем. Harald Haarmann; род. 1946) — немецкий лингвист и культуролог, живущий и работающий в Финляндии. Автор работ по общей лингвистике, различным ветвям филологии, доисторическим исследованиям. Работал в Гамбургском, Боннском, Коимбрском и Бангорском (англ.) (рус. университетах.

Биография

Защитил докторскую диссертацию в Бонне в 1970 году, хабилитировался в Трире в 1979 году. Преподавал и проводил исследования в ряде университетов Германии и Японии, член Исследовательского центра по многоязычию в Брюсселе. С 2003 года — вице-президент Института археомифологии) в городе Себастопол, штат Калифорния и директор его европейского филиала в финском городе Луумяки.

Автор более 40 книг на 10 языках: немецком, английском, французском, испанском, финском, венгерском, болгарском, японском, китайском и корейском. Опубликовал более 200 статей и эссе. Он является редактором и соредактором около 20 антологий. Основные сферы исследований: история культуры, археомифология, история письма, эволюция языка, контактная лингвистика и история религии.
